We invite all those who had
never been baptized, or who had been baptized in another
tradition, or who had been baptized Catholic but not
received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, to
“join the RCIA.”
· Where to start?
· Well, you
just begin from where you are now!
The RCIA takes
place within the context of the parish community, and
after a suitable period of formation, culminates in the
reception of the Sacraments of Initiation -Baptism,
Eucharist and Confirmation - on Easter Vigil.

WEEKLY COVID UPDATE: From 22 August 2020,
under the Queensland Government Movement and Gathering
Direction (No. 3), gatherings held in residences or public
places are restricted to a maximum of 10 people (for
gatherings taking place in a restricted area), or a
maximum of 30 people (for gatherings taking place in a
non-restricted area). These restrictions apply to church
gatherings or activities held off church premises, for
example, Family Group meetings in homes or church social
activities or events held in parks or other public places.
These restrictions do not apply to our worship as we are
operating under the COVID Safe Industry Plan for Places of
I sincerely want to acknowledge our parish
staff, sacramental and youth ministry coordinators,
musicians and all our volunteers for working hard to
implement the Industry Plan to protect our parishioners,
ourselves and our community. Let us thank God that our
worship and mission can continue in these uncertain days.
